The Museum was developed by two lecturers from the Legon Campus of the University of Ghana who believed it was very important to enlighten people about the development of technology and science in Ghana throughout the years.
The museum was opened to all in 1965. Exhibitions are held, including a piece of stone from the moon and a human heart. This museum is especially recommendable to the more youthful visitors who want to learn more about the science and the technology that is evolving around them. The museum also has a library and offers educational activities for children.
The museum is open from 9:00am to 4:30pm from Monday to Friday
