Ocean World Water park is part of the Vivaldi Park resort near Seo-myeon in the Gangwon-do province, by car, a little over an hour east of Seoul. The resort is well known for its ski area located on the slopes of mount Palbongsan.
The water-park is themed around the ancient Egyptian culture with sphinxes, pyramids and sculptures of the ancient gods. A tropical oasis in the Korean mountains. The park features exciting attractions for all ages including a 300 meter long Extreme River, a Surfing slope and the 'big bang' wave pool.
Ocean World is split into an indoor zone, extreme zone, mega slide zone and the dynamic zone. The last zone has a few of the world's most challenging slides.
The indoor zone is open all year and has a toddler pool, indoor lazy river pool, slides and even a wave pool.
Admission Fees Ticket prices vary per season and arriving time. Range for children from 35,000 to 67,000 Won. Range for adults from 45,000 to 77,000 Won. Because of a limited number of people that are allowed inside the complex at the same time, it is advised to book the tickets online to avoid long standby time.
Parking is available at the premises and is free of charge.
